Fundación Eco Educativa Montessori Colombia

FEMCO is the Fundación Eco-Educativa Montessori Colombia "Femco" by its acronym in Spanish, born as a pedagogical proposal in 1996 whose main purpose is to maintain the originality of the Montessori approach. On April 14th, 2018, FEMCO joined the global custodian of the Montessori approach, the Association Montessori Internationale, and together with Nigeria, Portugal, and Latvia, we became affiliated societies to AMI.FEMCO's purpose is focused on the creation of open and collaborative national networks to expand the Montessori movement in the national territory and further in South America.
