Margaret Jarrell, is a Montessori teacher and consultant with over 20 years of experience working with students, families, and educators. Margaret has a BA in Developmental Psychology from Duke University and a Master’s in Education from Marymount University. She earned her Montessori teaching credential from the Institute for Advanced Montessori Studies and was a Lower Elementary Montessori classroom teacher for twelve years. Margaret now serves as the Director of the Greenspring Center for Lifelong Learning, a non-profit organization that supports the critical work of Montessori educators, leaders, and schools. Margaret is an AMI Auxiliary Trainer in Montessori for Dementia and Ageing. She is a Project Manager for Brush Development Company, training and coaching care partners and healthcare professionals who wish to implement Montessori practices. She is the lead instructor for Brush Development's Certified Montessori Elder Care Practitioner Course and co-author of Montessori for Elder and Dementia Care (Second Edition).
